My favorite sex toys are: the Wink by Crave (I own two and carry around one almost all of the time), a vibrator I have that is similar to the Mini Magic Wand (the standard sized one is too powerful for me even on the lowest setting), and Betty’s Barbell – which is so well crafted to stay in place.
(In addition to my favorite toys), my favorite sex toy story: back in the very early 2000’s when I was in the midst of a difficult divorce/having to take sole custody of my toddler son/selling our business (a pool hall/bar), one late night when it was slow and I had someone helping me behind the bar, my friend and I ventured out to find a different atmosphere to pull me out of my funk (I was so stressed I literally felt like I could crawl the walls). It was a Monday or Tuesday night, super late and nothing seemed to be open except for an adult sex store a few miles down the road. We went in and spent probably close to 30+ minutes browsing over everything, having a good laugh. At some point we had seen it all and were on our way out when we passed by the display case at the register. Inside the case were several items, including this beautiful purple butterfly that had straps attached to it to wear (like underwear) and a remote control next to it. I asked the Salesman if I could take a closer look, so he took it out and inserted the batteries into the remote, but nothing happened. He then pulled out an identical one and that remote worked, igniting both butterflies. I negotiated a deal with him on the one remote and two butterflies, and he was happy to oblige my financial offer. My friend and I went out to the car and stripped down in order to get the butterflies on. It was complete silence in the car with such focus and determination — both of us working swiftly and diligently, like as if we were soldiers gearing up for combat. After we got redressed, we drove back to the pool hall, grabbed some wine and played pool on the back table for the remainder of the night. Whoever won the game got to control the remote. That evening did wonders for my stress level and overall, mental health – the laughter and hilarity that ensued— I still remember that as being a pivotal moment in my young adult life.
