I had forgotten that I read this book as a teenager- I don’t recall if I bought the book myself or if it was a copy of my mother’s or older sister’s, but I remember reading it and really being turned on. Now, the part that was so compelling to me was a portion of the book that didn’t exist in the original – Nancy’s Introduction titled “Twenty-Five Years in the Garden.” Her final lines I thought were so inspiring (when discussing the Matriarchal Feminists vs. what I would call the Common Sense Feminists) — “My fury is only tempered by people like you, who share my interest in true feminism, striving for equality in matters sexual as well as everywhere else… as the years have passed, more and more women have been willing to talk about enjoyment of our sexual selves and to acknowledge its inextricable link to true liberation of women.” Yes!!!👏🏻
