Emily, I connected with your story. I also wanted to be a mother, but never had children. Thank you for sharing.
My reliable “go to” is the Goddess Style, in a reclining pose. I like being on my back to orgasm. I usually lay back against pillows but I can even get in the right position if I’m laying down.
I like being “hands free.” I can use my hands to massage my breasts and other body parts. I also like to just keep my hands and arms away, kind of like being in bondage. It really helps when I’m imagining a power-dynamic or bondage fantasy. I’ve gotten pretty good at using my feet to adjust the angle and head of the vibrator.
This happened just a couple of weeks ago. I was asked to sign an easement to give permission for the county to use my property to improve the sewer infrastructure on my street. I’m all about cooperating for the greater good, so it wasn’t a problem for me to give support. However, the contract language for the easement started with something like “Be it known among all good men . . .” What the f? I told the representives that as a feminist, I didn’t feel comfortable signing a contract with such antiquated language. Although at the time, I was told that it was typical legalese (not), I was given a new contract without discrimatory language.
I no longer accept the status quo, even with the small stuff.
I get aroused when I think about being spanked. Adding in some discipline because I was a naughty girl is a good add. I like to have some sort of power dynamic. I switch up the elements to add variety. So, I could be a student disciplined by a teacher because my skirt is too short. I might be pulled over by a police officer while driving and punished for some infraction. Or maybe I’m the secretary being discuiplined by my boss because there were typos in an important letter (okay, have you seen the movie “Secretary” with James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal?)
When I ufantasize during masturbation, I don’t play the whole story in my mind, just images and dialogue. It works.
This is just one of many fantasy themes that I like.
Of course, Planned Parenthood has a excellent interactive page with information about many options.

The Janes documentary on HBO
It’s a documentary about a network of women in Chicago that facilitated abortion access just before Roe v. Wade. I am amazed by the bravery, determination, and resourcefullness of these women helping other women.
My big find for 2023 was the series “The Fosters” and its spinoff “Good Trouble.”
“The Fosters” is about a family with two moms who adopt foster children – and there last name is Foster. Cheesey, but good. The series includes a lot of current social issues. Teen sexuality is a big part of the series and the parents are realistic and positive.
In “Good Trouble,” two of the daughters move to Los Angeles and share a communal living space. A range of sexual expression is positvely incorporated. I loved when one of the main characters shamelessly shares her first threesome with a couple that she picks up in a bar.
Right now, you can find both series on Hulu. The Fosters has 5 seasons, ending in 2018. Good Trouble started in 2018 and is currently in its 5th season.
Hi! I’ll get this party started.
My name is Laura. I’m 64. I’m happy to live by the water on the shore of Lake Erie in Mentor-on-the-Lake, Ohio (USA).
Once upon a time, I was a first grade teacher. After over 35 years in the field of education, I retired. Bodysex was the catalyst that supported my growth into discovering and loving myself as I truly am. It’s an ongoing journey.
My goal is to lead a quiet and pleasure-filled life. I do what I enjoy.

@Tosh, I so relate to your share. At age 5/6, I remember my mother telling me to hold in my stomach so that my clothes would look better. It was a reflection of my mother’s own feelings about her body.
